If you’ve never had a professional photography session, don’t worry, IT’S EASY!  In fact, some even say that it’s fun because this is your chance to create memories that you will treasure for years to come.

Here’s how it works:

1) Imagine how you want your pictures to look.  Do you prefer a structured look or do you like to be caught in the moment?  Do you want to dress up for your pictures?  Is there a specific look or pose that you have seen and want to re-create?  All of these are possible, it just takes a little thought and imagination.  And if you don’t have any pre-conceived ideas, that’s okay too – I have plenty of suggestions.

2) Schedule an appointment.  I am able to take pictures at a location of your choosing or at your home — I just ask for a place with as much natural light as possible.  I am also familiar with several local parks and other suitable locations if you prefer. Basically, I want to be as flexible as possible while maintaining ideal settings for the best pictures.

3) Enjoy your photos.  I will send you a digital link to your edited photos no later than two weeks after your session.  You will have access to this online gallery for 10 days.   During this time you will want to choose which photos are your favorites and which products you would like to purchase.  I will then place your orders for you from the various vendors I use.  It typically takes another two weeks to receive your products from the vendors (gallery canvases and large prints may take longer). With your permission, I may also post some of the photos from your session on my Facebook fan page, so be sure to check it regularly.

4) Spread the word.  If you enjoyed your session and your photos, please spread the word far and wide.  Or at the very least, please tell your friends.  And if you found something missing or have suggestions, please let me know as I want you to be satisfied with the experience and will do my best to correct any problems.
